I hope that I can give someone else the support they need to feel good about their school work and to potentially inspire a passion for a once dreaded subject. In the past I have tutored 2 high-school students in Spanish through University Tutor. Both students achieved their goals during our time together.They improved in reading, writing, comprehension and grammar, achieving high scores on tests and an increase in confidence. While living in Mexico for 8 months, I tutored students in English and my peers in Spanish. My experience also extends to teaching informal classes for English language learners. I have traveled to live and study in countries where English is not spoken; working in learning environments with children and young adults where tutoring and mentorship are fundamental parts of the learning process. I have great communication and interpersonal/intercultural skills. I enjoy being around new people and learning from them as well. Learning for me is always a two-way street. My passion is learning and I love being a part of the process! (References available upon request)

Hobbies
I enjoy sports such as soccer and rock climbing. Being outside and in nature is one of my favorite things. I spend a lot of time studying and being around friends and family. When I am not in school I like to dance, cook,travel and practice Spanish. I'm a fun person to be around, and I get along with just about everyone.
