I grew up in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where I graduated from the Belgian education system. I am currently a student at Everett Community College, and I am studying applied physics and mechanical engineering. Ever since I was a high school student, I have been tutoring in some form or another. I love having the opportunity to help others with their studies because I believe in education as a means to better one's life.After completing a program teaching English to second language learners, I became a math tutor. In addition to mathematics, I also tutor French and science at my local college. I believe in patience and understanding when tutoring students. I work hard to ensure that, through proper explanation, my students are able to understand the material covered.When explaining difficult concepts, I try to simplify the material so that it is presented in a way that the student can understand. I love helping others overcome their academic challenges. It is an amazing feeling to help a student and then see him and her finally understand a subject that was initially causing a lot of frustration. I strive to help students better themselves while improving their test grades.
